Elisa Barger, Volunteer

Elisa is a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, a wife, a Westie doggie-mom, a business woman, and an artist. Her parents encouraged her to enjoy her creative talents and also saw the importance of a good creative program beginning at a young age. Elisa believes that whether it is art, music, dance, drama, architecture, math, computer technology, teaching.... all talents are gifts to be shared throughout your life – to be used and not wasted.
Elisa has a degree in commercial design and business from ASU. She has worked for many companies as a graphic designer. She started her business in 2005 and she loves her work! She creates logos, helps clients advertise their businesses, and helps clients publish their books.
At the CLC Elisa has seen a need for more drawing paper and has been able to get lots of great paper for the children from several local printing companies. She helped mat a lot of the art for the Art Show. She does prep work for projects which helps save time for the teachers.
Elisa says, “Life is too short to miss out on the joy of working with children, so this year I decided to make time to volunteer at CLC. I look forward to it even it if is only an hour or two a week. These children are blessed to have parents who really love them and this program to help them learn and grow. They are blessed to have Mrs. Othella and her fine staff. I hope one day you will add my name to your favorite people list at CLC.”
