Jan has worked in child care for over 25 years. She has a B.S. in Child Development from the University of Connecticut. She moved to North Carolina 10 years ago. Her husband is a Cinematographer and a faculty member at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking. They spend summers and winter breaks in Connecticut.

Jan says: "I am delighted to work with Othella and the entire staff at the Creative Learning Center. In my experience, CLC's program is wonderfully unique. Our proximity to UNCSA offers more opportunities to expose children to the arts. CLC's focus on teaching Spanish and celebrating diversity prepares our children for success in Kindergarten and beyond. I especially enjoy working with the Little People, 2's - 3's, and all the children at the CLC. I am happy to be part of such a quality program."
